Music - Karaoke and Dance

 I enjoy my Friday afternoon music sessions - this week we got out the electronic drum kit and played along to the songs. 

Delivering Food to Under the Stars

 We delivered some yummy chicken to the Under the Stars Community Meal. 

Connect 20 meet up

 I met up with lots of friends at the Connect 20 Social lunch and get together afternoon at the Tauranga Citizens Club.  It was nice to see old friends and meet some new ones. 

Office Work

 I love helping out the boss ( Nicole) in the Wilrose office and the other day I helped out with some office jobs at the spca op shop too. 

Friendships - Corsages and Cardgames

 I enjoyed making some corsages to wear when we have a Prom Themed Dance here at the centre. I also enjoyed a game of Uno. I’ve got some great friends here at Wilrose.

 

SPCA Op Shop

 I am a fantastic help volunteering at the SPCA Op Shop in Greerton. This week I helped with the bags and then wrote Gill a note before leaving. 

Volunteer Group - clothes pick up

 Every two weeks the volunteer group picks up clothes for the homeless from the Good Opportunity Shop! 

Disco Day

 I really enjoyed the disco day. I had a dance with my friends and enjoyed a yummy chop suey for lunch! 

Music and Dance

 I enjoy singing songs on the microphone with my friends. 

Sports at the Athletics Track

 I enjoyed doing a relay race, long jump and gum boot throwing competition at the domain with my friends. I won a medal.

Volunteer Group

 I have been busy in volunteer group visiting rest homes, shopping for the centre, collecting clothes for the homeless and even doing my least favourite job with a smile .......... van washing! 

RDA

 I had so much fun starting at RDA. My horses name is cracker and he is big and brown. I’m looking forward to going back again soon. 

Pop Up Shop Development

 I am helping to create things for our Pop up Shop that we are having later this year. I am part of the development team that is organising it. It is one of my goals. 

SPCA Op Shop

 I do such a good job volunteering at the SPCA Op Shop in Greerton. This week we cut out price tags.

Whanau Day

 I really enjoyed a Whanau Day at the centre when the staff brought their kids in. I’m pretty good with kids. We played games, completed challenges and had sausage and onions in bread at lunch. I want to do this again. 

Food Bank

 It’s good to be back at food bank to help do some volunteering and work as a team..
